Wax Composition: Consists of Refined Paraffin waxes, Microcrystalline Waxes and Color Pigments. These components impart the performance properties of modern sealing waxes when compared to original formulas– the wax is more viscous, denser and tackier. It has a higher melting point and is, in general, more elastic and adhesive. This is why this modern waxes work so much better with stamping, retaining a good impression and being adhesive during the mailing process.
This wax is non-flammable and safe for transport.
Modern Sealing Waxes are:
• FDA certified for Direct Food Contact (Glue Gun and Bead Wax only).
• Non Toxic as long as not ingested
• Vegan - the wax is not animal derived and not tested on animals
They are NOT:
• biodegradable or recyclable
• Natural
CAUTION: When working with sealing wax, please exercise caution and care in the use of this product, especially with an open flame. Sealing wax is not recommended for use by young children without adult supervision.

They are SOOO beautiful that I'm afraid to use them. These colors are just perfect for showing off the details of my wax seal stamp. I just love them and the colors are brilliant!
Since its a lot more difficult to see friends and family right now (writing in Sept of 2020), I've really stepped up my snail mail exchanges! I've really enjoyed sending letters and cards to my friends and family and adding little wax seals to my mail has been such a nice and thoughtful addition! I know my recipients are happy to receive mail, but adding a wax seal makes it more fun and special. All my sealed letters have arrived intact.
I have never used sealing wax before but I ordered a started kit from this site and found it to be very easy! Since my first few seals went well, I wanted to get a bunch more colors to keep me stocked up thru holiday cards and the winter. You can get quite a few seals from one stick ( I keep trying the other colors) and I think these will last a long time.
Sometimes its hard to get the stick lit again, but I think this is a matter of how I melt the wax and not a fault of the product. I just need some more practice.
Wonderful colors and the design on the wax sticks is even classy!
