Wax Composition: Consists of Refined Paraffin waxes, Microcrystalline Waxes and Color Pigments. These components impart the performance properties of modern sealing waxes when compared to original formulas– the wax is more viscous, denser and tackier. It has a higher melting point and is, in general, more elastic and adhesive. This is why this modern waxes work so much better with stamping, retaining a good impression and being adhesive during the mailing process.
This wax is non-flammable and safe for transport.
Modern Sealing Waxes are:
• FDA certified for Direct Food Contact (Glue Gun and Bead Wax only).
• Non Toxic as long as not ingested
• Vegan - the wax is not animal derived and not tested on animals
They are NOT:
• biodegradable or recyclable
• Natural
CAUTION: When working with sealing wax, please exercise caution and care in the use of this product, especially with an open flame. Sealing wax is not recommended for use by young children without adult supervision.

The color of the wax is exactly what was advertised and the description fits it to a T. I wish I?d invested in the glue gun looking thing because fire makes it difficult to be very precise with the drops of wax.

This was purchased as a gift and I know the recipient is crazy for purple; she will love it.
As always a great product!
This sealing wax was extremely easy to use once the wick was lit. It was also our first go at using one so there is definitely a learning curve! Love the color and application, the wick contains a lot of the metallic material and makes a mess if you do not keep the wick nice and short while burning. Super easy to clean the mess but make sure you use it on a nice solid non-porous surface! Overall, great quality and our invitations came out beautiful with our sunflower wax seal stamp!
Love this color!
Like this product, but don't love it. The burned wick has an annoying tendency to fall into the melted wax pool, thereby the waxy seal is noticeably marred with black/grey ash. Not cool and it failed to meet my expectations.
It burns well and it's a pretty color.

I haven't used wax seals since I was a kid. I don't remember the wax melting so smoothly and looking so pretty on the paper! Very nice, and great price!
I really do prefer the non-wicked wax, personally. I think it's more consistent and, personally, I don't like the more flexible wax. But it's great if you want to mail it or make sure it keeps up under adverse conditions. I got these because there's no purple no-wick wax. The color was great and I was able to work with it. No need to knock it just because it's not my preference.
Great color! We enjoy the flexible sealing waxes. It has a nice metallic shine. It's easy to use and has a nice almost resin-y smell.
