It says it's made for glue melting, but it melts the wax perfectly. It's not very heavy and the cord isn't very long so I've flipped it a few times, but as long as you're careful, it works great. No ladle scooper included, so be sure you already have one.

Melts quickly and evenly. Directions say to use aluminum foil for faster cleanup. I did not find this to allow the wax to melt as well as being directly in the melting pot. I like this product a lot and it makes doing lots of seals at once very quick and easy!

I use sealing wax for my little business. I tried the individual sticks and didn't want to have open fire around my paper supplies. I tried the glue gun approach but felt it wasted more than I used. Finally I purchased the best idea - the melting pot. Now I can melt just what I need and there is no waste, it's fast and clean. Thank you!!!

This little pot keeps the wax at just the right temperature so that it doesn't run all over when I am making multiple wax seals. It takes a while to get everything to temp, but it's great once it does. I lined it with the foil as suggested & it works for many colors.

This is so much better than melting the wax on a spoon over a candle flame. It makes creating wax seals so much more easy and enjoyable!

This pot was very helpful when I was putting wax seals on a batch of 40 envelopes. It melts the wax nicely and keeps a reasonably consistent temperature.
The only downside is that the bottom of the bowl has a small ridge running across the center that makes it difficult to scoop enough wax if the bowl gets less than half full.

I will not use this for a while yet. But I know it's going to be fine. I'll try to update this in the future.

I purchased three for separate colors and am very happy with them all. Great quality product. They make making seals in bulk much easier and quicker.
