Big spoon for wax seal. The spoon is great but a little big for the 4 melting pot.

I don't like shallow spoons for wax stamping. These spoons are nice and large and deep. I can dump wax on to several corks to stamp at a time instead of only being able to do 2 at a time.

Wanted to do a wax seal for wedding invitations. After searching all over Amazon (many had terrible reviews that the spoons break from the heat after a couple uses), I decided to look for a legit company that specializes in this art. I needed to seal 40 invites and couldn't afford the spoon malfunctioning. This spoon held up! It's small but holds up to 4 wax beads, more than I needed for each stamp. The metal blackens at the bottom of the spoon, that's to be expected. Overall, great, well-made product! Highly recommend!

It is just the right size for the mouth of the furnace to melt the wax

The large size is perfect for my 2'seal.

My last Spoon from one of those Pre-made Wax & Writing Pen sets was so small and I never fully had the whole impression. However this Spoon is a Perfect Size and the Impression is astounding.

The final product I needed to really start handwriting all my correspondence. My only wish is for a stand to rest it on.

Love the large spoon, too.

The spoon design does not sit well on the warmer plate. The stem also seems very flimsy. Other than that it?s a bowl that gets hot to melt wax.

Sturdy, pretty, and the smaller size was just the perfect size for one seal.

So far, the spoon is great, but the slotted joint between the spoon bowl and metal handle adapter does not inspire much confidence. The joint already bent once during cleaning (using only light force), and while it was able to bend it back, I fear the joint will fail if I am not VERY careful while using the spoon. The design is a low cost one, but I would gladly pay more for a more robust joint between the spoon bowl and handle.

Even though the dimensions of this spoon was given, and I chose the larger one, it was still a bit bigger than I?d expected (which is a good thing). As I ordered a 40mm wax seal, it is good that I ordered the larger spoon. The pour of a spoon 4/5th full is perfect for my stamp size.

It's a cool and useful thing to have for the sealing wax. You may want to buy smaller pieces of wax to be melted in it though, which I will do sometime soon...

All the items in the order arrived quickly and the order was packaged with care. The brass spoon was heavy and had a hefty wooden handle which made the spoon easy to hold and with no worries of burning my hands. The medium spoon held 3-4 wax pellets easily and the pouring lip kept everything neat, the wax went where I wanted it to go.

I've always used wax sticks, but using a spoon and beads has been a total game changer. Beautiful purchase.

I am loving my melting spoon. It is so relaxing to watch the wax melt and get to pour it onto the surface. It actually melts faster than I expected also. This is my first experience using the melting spoon and wax and I'm addicted!

It was a little smaller than what I anticipated, but great quality & will be perfect for what I need!

When I first started using wax seals I bought a kit (from etsy) that had a very cheap spoon and the bottom of it always burned when I melted my waxes and it also was fairly small. I decided to get a new and better spoon which I'm so happy that I did. I bought the medium size and was a bit afraid it was going to be too small but I was very wrong! It holds about 6-8 wax beads and doesn't burn the wax or get burnt on the bottom. I would highly suggest using/ upgrading to this material for your sealing!

If you use sealing wax, you can't have too many of this

I used to use an old kitchen spoon, but now I no longer worry about burning my hand. The handle is comfortable and doesn't get hot like a metal spoon. Great addition to deck.
