Wax Composition: Consists of Refined Paraffin waxes, Microcrystalline Waxes and Color Pigments. These components impart the performance properties of modern sealing waxes when compared to original formulas– the wax is more viscous, denser and tackier. It has a higher melting point and is, in general, more elastic and adhesive. This is why this modern waxes work so much better with stamping, retaining a good impression and being adhesive during the mailing process.
This wax is non-flammable and safe for transport.
Modern Sealing Waxes are:
• FDA certified for Direct Food Contact (Glue Gun and Bead Wax only).
• Non Toxic as long as not ingested
• Vegan - the wax is not animal derived and not tested on animals
They are NOT:
• biodegradable or recyclable
• Natural
CAUTION: When working with sealing wax, please exercise caution and care in the use of this product, especially with an open flame. Sealing wax is not recommended for use by young children without adult supervision.

The wax is great and as expected besides the color. The pictures made the pearl orange look like it was much darker in the pictures, its so light orange it looks almost pink. Once you melt them you can see the pearl but just much much different than pictured.
I received the sealing wax in good condition. It was very well packaged. No damages or breakage!
These are excellent wax sticks when only a few seals are needed (just light and drip), and even with the wick, the wax usually melts cleanly and with a minimum of soot. I found the green sticks a disappointing color compared to the on-line photos, but that is a minor issue for me.

The colors and quality of the wax sticks are fantastic. I have no complaints other than the fact that the wick tends to smoke out like incense and I have to keep a plate of water around to snuff it out.

I recently discovered Nostalgic and now I can't stop! I am making a big push to get back to letter writing. I wrote a lot in college (20 years now) and I really missed it. If it is worth doing, do it right. The wicked sealing wax is so easy to use. I keep getting compliments and never had USPS return anything. Very pleased. This is a nice set of variety.

The was was indeed flexible; so I was not concerned about sending it through USPS. It took a little bit longer to melt the wax than I was used to, but the wax did not burn and stayed warm long enough for me to set up the stamp; check the direction, etc.

The wax was beautiful and I am excited to use it!!
I purchased this to get value for a variety of colors. I split it for gifts and my own use. I used one of the sticks and part of the wax pulled apart off the envelope when I lifted the stamp. This is the first time that I have used this wax. i have always used a traditional wax. I'll hopefully find if there is a trick to it. It looked sloppy.
